A group of revolutionary teenage girls, led by a young Zulu mystic, rock the world with their music while transforming it through ancestral wisdom and mystical power.
The classic site introduced an Africa-based animated series built around young Indigenous girls from Zulu, Aboriginal, Mayan, and Celtic backgrounds. They become heroes, musicians, and mystics in a vivid adventure designed to hook a new generation.
The story begins under the enchanted Baobab tree, where Gogo Nomandala passes ancient wisdom to Zizwe. As the tree vibrates and sparks, Maya, Drui, Ras, and their companions arrive, each called from a different culture and carrying a different power.
The Mystics shape shift, materialize in brilliant flashes, fly impossibly high, play impossible music, and use their powers to confront supernatural and modern threats.
